The Musée des Arts Décoratifs is celebrating the 70th anniversary of one of the most influential and iconic houses of fashion creation of the House of Dior.
“Designer of Dreams” is the Biggest Dior Exhibition Ever Staged in Paris and the first in France in 30 years. Following the success of the blockbuster
fashion exhibitions like recent Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in London The Dior exhibition is a spectacular voyage through the universe of the House of
Dior’s founder and the illustrious couturiers who succeeded him: Yves Saint Laurent,
Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons and, most recently, new artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The layout is both chronological and thematic, telling the story of Christian Dior himself, his fashion heritage and deep sense of culture.
